The Daughter of actor/comedian Keith Allen returned with her second single, which was in fact actually her first. Originally released and limited to 500 copies, it predated the extremely successful 'Smile'.
'LDN' was a tribute to London, but without being overly complimentary or basically lying. Lily told it using her innovative singing style that incorporated some neat rhyming couplets and phrasing along the way. The rhythm track was heavily influenced by a reggae/ska sound, but in a slightly more authentic fashion than Paris Hiltons UB40 rip off. 'LDN' was a bumping, carnival sounding summertime soundtrack. Pop music hasn't sounded this good or remotely unique for a while, a sure fire number 1.
