Traditional Folk

Traditional folk music is synonymous with the term “traditional music”, and often includes world music and roots music. There are many styles of traditional folk music, all of which can be classified into various traditions, generally based around some combination of ethnic, racial, religious, political or geographical boundaries. These include North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Asia, Middle East, North Africa, Oceania, Australia and sub-Saharan Africa.
